Apparently a Seattle couple lived in a $1.2 million dollar home and collected federal aid from the Government. Scam? That’s what the government said.
The Wife apparently made false claims stating that she made less than $5,000 per year and lived with two children. On top of that, she put the Husband as the Landlord. Now, they didn’t have the same last names, so it took a while for them to be caught.
In the meantime, they’ve flown to Moscow, Paris, and Numerous other places over the period of 8 years. What can we learn from this? How about that no matter how you plan out your crime, you’re probably going to get caught. Sooner or later, it’ll catch up to you.
Now, what’s really stupid about this? They’re actually going to have to pay it back as well as thousands of dollars in fines. So, it’s actually costing them money in the long run.
Just goes to show you that no matter how Rich or Wealthy you are, that Stupidity strikes everywhere.
