If you think that moving slower is better, then think about this. While you want to have a controlled effort on the way down during a pushup, you’ll want a faster more aggressive motion on the way up. This helps to get the body into fat burning mode by getting the fast twitch muscles working. Just one of the many awesome tips you can find in the article below.
Over the next several months, I’ll be reading “The Complete Guide To Walking For Health, Weight Loss, and Fitness.” During that time, I’ll be writing about incites that I’ve learned while reading the book as well as reviewing the chapter.
The book is simply, about walking, by the foremost expert on Walking, Mark Fenton. I’ll let the back cover do the talking.

A few days ago, I’ve started to keep track of my Cardio progress. Today is day 4 of the start. Missed a day, so I had to make up for it by adding an extra minute to my Cardio routine. What is my fitness goal/challenges? To add one minute of Cardio to my routine. In other words, on day one I started with 10 minutes. Then add one minute to that the next day to get 11 minutes of Cardio. The 11 minute mark is actually the one that I missed. The reason I decided not to do it, was because I had did quite a bit of walking that day. Still, no excuses. Someone slap me. Here’s an update on my progress.
