This young talented group is gaining in popularity.  With there Forget You cover by Cee Lo Green, they’ve amassed over 4 million views and counting.  This video has gone viral.  If you haven’t heard them yet, you should.  Despite them being young, I’m always on the look out for new young talents.  This is definitely a group you’ll want to keep an eye out for over the years.

If you thought that was good, you’ll want to check out the next video.  It’s even better and has even more views.  With a whopping 33 million+ views, this one really went viral and for a good reason.  This song is Rolling in the Deep by Adele.  Check out the talent below.

Twitter Hashtag Tools

When browsing Twitter, you may have noticed hashtags.  What are hashtags?  They’re easy ways to spread your message out to a larger following.

You can also follow hashtags and have conversations with them.  Hashtags always have a # symbol in front of their name.  That’s how Twitter determines it’s a hashtag.

Hashtags are also a great way to increase your Tweet count.  If you’re not sure what to Tweet about today, just look up a hashtag.  For example; if I wanted to learn something about a random person today, I might use the hashtag #30thingsaboutme.

When I search for #30thingsaboutme, it brings up everyone who is using that hashtag.  You can see what people are saying about themselves and it can give you an idea of what you might say yourself.  You might even use the #30thingsaboutme hashtag to let others know more about you.

Using hashtags is a great way to meet more people on Twitter and increase your following.  Not only that, if you have a Klout, then having conversations with people will increase your reach, which overall increases your Klout score.  Therefor, using hashtags can increase your overall reach in Social Media.

Some people say don’t over-use hashtags.  I say that one should use hashtags accordingly.  Forexample, if I was posting a post about #Dogs, I would not use a #Cats hashtag in my post.  But, perhaps I would use the hashtag #Knine.  The hashtag needs to be relative to the post at hand.

There are some Hashtag Tools that you can use to your advantage.  For example, by clicking on the image below, it will take you to an article that goes over 6 of those tools.  Included in this article is the Trendsmap site, which allows you to see trends by location on a map.

Most Common Problems Guys Have In Relationships

Most people look at single men and don’t think that they have the slightest clue about Relationships.  Truth is, you don’t have to be in a relationship(s) to know a thing or to about them.  There is this little thing I like to call Observation.

A single guy who has never had a single date, might know more about relationships than a guy who’s been on hundreds of dates.  See the big picture here?  The single guy can learn from every one of the dating guy’s mistakes, that is if he follows the Golden Rules of Learning.

Listen, Absorb, and Apply.  Those are the three Golden Rules of Anything really.

Let’s take dating for example; the single biggest problem I’ve seen with dating, is that Guys don’t (Listen.)  Yep, that one little issue is the single biggest cause of break ups in America’s Young Adults today.  Men just don’t listen.

They’ll completely ignore half of what’s said, one fourth of what’s said they only catch half of it, and the other fourth, men tend to be on the So So page.

What’s the So So page?  Men listen up, because you’ll need this piece of advice.  The So So page is when Men are listening, but don’t say anything or do anything.

For example: when a Woman offers a suggestions and the man just ignores it, merely because a Woman offered it.  That’s the So So page.  Ladies, this issue can easily be fixed……

Get A Bigger Stick!

Absorbing what you learn is a big part of life.  We can’t live with out learning, otherwise, we’d be a broken sponge.  That’s right, learning is a lot like a Sponge, first you have to absorb it, in order to use it.

But, don’t absorb too much, otherwise all that information will overflow and be lost, or simply put, useless.  It’s just like anything else you do, from time to time you need a break.

Applying what you learn is by far the most crucial part of any relationship.  If you do something wrong and you continue to do it, time and time again, of course she’s going to get pissed of or even leave your lazy butt.  Because either A) you’re not learning anything or B) you’re not applying what you learn.

See, absorption and Application work hand in hand.  If you’re out their and your Truck breaks down?  What do you do?  You learn what you need in order to fix the problem and go about fixing it.

Guys listen to this, because I’m only going to say it once.  Women, are a lot like Trucks, they need regular maintenance and lots of TLC.  Otherwise, you may as well hang up the hat and boot yourself out the door.

Relationships don’t have to be hard, nowadays, young adults tend to over complicate things.  Go simple, or go home.

There are many things that we wish we had learned in school.  No matter who you are, or where you’re from, there is always something.  Our parents have conditioned us to do better and now look at us.

Young adults nowadays think that Flipping Burgers is below them.  It’s a great first starter job.  It’ll teach you lots of things, like dedication, time management, and numerous other things.  On top of that it’ll add spending money in your pocket.

If you’re smart though, you’d realize that you’re not going to get a six figure job right out of High School.  Not unless you create your own job.  Here are some things that you wish you had learned in school.

This Geek also took and built his computer out of Lego parts.  This is intriguing for a lot of Geeks out there who love Lego.  In fact, one could go as far to say it’s intriguing to a lot more than just the Geek community.

Green Smoothies – For Those Wanting A New Lifestyle

I don’t know about you, but I’m willing to try out just about anything.  Even Vegetarian and Vegan dishes.  I’m not afraid to take the plunge.  How about you?

Why We Make Mistakes?

Many people often make mistakes.  Yet, sometimes we don’t know why.  I recently had to make a change in my Biggest Reasons Why Americans Are Overweight post.  It was a simple mistake too that anyone can make.

Down at the bottom, when I started talking about “they’re tampering with our health,” I had out instead of our.  Simple mistake right?

What about when we make mistakes that are big mistakes, the ones that make us feel a little down?

Today, I finished my workout routine.  Well, the Cardiovascular part of it anyway.  I found out that I actually had an error in my last calculation on Calories burned.  Yesterday, I had thought that I burned about  363 calories, when it was no where near.

Here’s the formula that I used to calculate those Calories.  men: calories = [(0.6309 x heart rate) + (0.2017 x age) — (0.09036 x weight) — 55.0969] x time / 4.184.

 See the part where it says — 55.0969]?  Yeah, I missed that completely in my calculation.  Somehow, someway, I just totally left it out.  So, while figuring out the new calculation, I was slightly disappointed.

Can you imagine how disappointing it is to find out that you’re not burning 300+ Calories, but instead you’re burning more like 186.  And that’s after increasing your time on the Elliptical to push yourself?  Sags head and walks away………

Ok, maybe not quite yet.  Unless I’m doing the formula wrong, there’s a big mistake there, but what can we learn from mistakes?

For starters, we can’t dwell on them.  We have to move on and learn from them.  We have to be more careful next time, so that we won’t make the same mistake again.  Life is too short to be filled with fouls.

It also helps to not be tired when you’re writing a blog post.  You’re more likely to catch those mistakes.  So make sure you get a good nights sleep.

So, what! if. I; make/misteaks….Get over it.  That’s all we can do right?  Get over it and move on.  Learn from them and not bash ourselves too much.

Biggest Reasons Why Americans Are Overweight!

Americans are said to be the most over weight, but many have a hard time figuring out why.  Why is it that many Americans are starting to be overweight and in worse health than the previous generation?  I think I have the answer.

Reason 1

Exercise….
Many Americans nowadays aren’t getting enough exercise.  That’s right, something as simple as exercise can have a big impact on our daily lives.  In the movie WALL-E, the people roamed around on hover chairs.  Who needs a wheel chair right?  Especially when the machine will do all the work for you.

Is that the kind of life style we want?  To be subjects who are limited in our mobility based on some machine?  Right now many kids are experiencing this because of Parents not letting their kids play in the park.  Instead, they’ll let them play Video Games all day and do nothing.

Now, before you go bashing Video games and start blaming the games themselves, maybe you should take a closer look a parenting.  I play Video Games myself, but that doesnt’ mean that Nerds can’t be fit.  I in fact have started a Cardio Routine, which will eventually turn into running, which in turn will turn into a Marathon.

I have goals, kids nowadays, don’t.  That’s partly because parents let their kids spend too much time playing Video Games as apposed to….well, playing.

Reason 2

Over Indulging…..
Many restaurants have started (in the last decade)  increasing portion sizes.  Now, they even go as far as encourage you to get a large or (in some cases) super-size.  In this case, bigger isn’t always better.  Tell me something.

Do you feel better now that you’re bigger?  Again, bigger isn’t always better.  My parents often times make two meals out of one meal when they go out to eat.  Why?  Many of these meals are filled with Calories.  Many of them over 1,000 calories.  That’s half a days Calories for most.

Reason 3

Quality of Food
Our food quality has reduced in the last 10-20 years drastically.  Farmers are basically killing the land that they farm one with all the chemicals that they spray on plants.  Therefore, we’re forced to look for alternatives: plants that are bug resistant, plants that yield more, and even plants that grow better in certain climates.

When you start tampering with plants: spraying chemicals, changing DNA strands, making them more volatile, something has to give.  So, where do we suffer?  In Nutritional Value.  I can’t stress this enough….

Life is too precious to tamper with.  By tampering with those plants, they’re tampering with our health.  Empty calories adds to our over all weight.  Really.  What else is our body going to use useless calories for?

It’s All About Initiative

Life in general is all about Initiative.  Do you have the drive necessary to make it happen?  Are you living life the way you want to?

I’ve started writing on my novel again.  That takes initiative.  If you have a story you want to write, you need to plan it out and get started writing.  Don’t wait too long, you’ll never get it done.  Trust me, I know.

I’ve had the idea to write this novel for several years now.  I could have been a published Author by now if I had that Initiative.  Hopefully, it won’t be that far off, now that I’ve started the initial stage.

There’s another area in my life that needs work though.  Exercise.  I just lack the drive that I need to make it all happen.

I often find my self laughing (on the inside) at people who drive around the parking lot looking for a parking space.  I can park out of the way at the end of the isle and walk into the store, before most people can park their car.  Seriously?  Yet, at the same time, I lack the drive to get motivated for exercise?

So, here’s what I’m going to try.  I’m going to make a poster board.  It’s going to be filled with things I want, people I want to be like, women I’d like to date, etc.  Why?  This is to hopefully give me the motivation I need to actually be someone.  To get up and go.

I’m also going to be starting a community of my own.  I’m going to be looking for certain individuals (who are already well on their way) to help jump start the community.  If you’d like to be a part of this community, let me know.  It will probably be forum based.

Keep plucking away at life and it will reward you.
